Balustrades, balconies, bay windows, fences and other refined wrought iron pieces appear in 18th and 19th. century houses and continued to be used well into the 20th c. They come with sophisticated and complex shapes sometimes inspired by Art Nouveau and Art Deco or with simple patterns with geometric forms.

Rivets, bolts and collars were used in the absence of welding, they show refined craftsmanship and are evidence of the authenticity of the [beyt] collection by 2b design. The patina is original and added pieces –mostly lamp bases and small screws- are weathered using natural pigments.
